Psalm 146:7-9

 7. He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free,   8. the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.  9. The Lord watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.

Loving without getting tired is one of the challenges that we need to accomplish. An example of this is when a friend who always shares his or her problem to you is also the same friend whom you counseled last month. His problem last time is still the same until now, though you tried to help but still, the person cannot move on to his or her life.

This is a time also when our patience was being tested. When we want to help someone that has repetitive problems, we tend to neglect to help that friend the coming days. We find hard to show love for them because as a human we are also being discouraged when we get emotionally attached to the problem of the person. This is a time when ‘What we need is to love without getting tired.’

Let’s allow God’s love for the hurting and broken to work through us, meeting the needs of those who are hurting spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Let’s ask God how we can meet their needs.
