Hebrews 12:11

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Insight:

There are times that we are caught in a situation that we need to SAY NO even it is just ONLY YOU who is having that NO and all say YES.

I once worked in a call center environment. As a christian, there are times when night shift schedule and team building after work is done. Since after shift is still dawn, there are times a team should undergo a meeting in a bar. I need to say yes because it is still time and part of work but if I need to say NO like asking me for drink and just a “goodtime moment” (not really a part of work) I am saying NO. They called me kill joy and that I do not know how to cooperate but I know my accountability is to God… that when i SAY NO..to NO..it is a YES and Win for me for God. I need to discipline and have wisdom on how to decide on some activities. When I’ve done so.. I know what I reap is a reward from God. It is worth the effort and with it I know that I can enjoy a peaceful life that God gaves to those who obeyed Him.
